This comes as a pleasant surprise and has created quite a buzz with the netizens as usually, according to old Indian traditions, the bride touches her husband's feet once the marriage is commemorated.

The viral video is posted by Diti Goradia, a banking analyst and a digital creator of Indian origin, living in New York. Posting this cute moment on Instagram she captioned it- "Our pandit didn’t like this at all. But by the end of the ceremony, he whispered to me: “You are one very lucky girl.” Marry your equal in every sense of the word!"

However, this gesture has answered all the questions and can only be seen as a step in the right direction, tweaking traditions to command respect for both spouses.
