From aesthetic mountain videos, fashion hacks, lip-sync videos to everything Instagram reels are about, Yohani's song is used widely on the platform.

Later, Yohani's ">version of the song was further remixed with other languages including Tamil and Bengali among others.

Who Is Manike Mage Hithe Singer Yohani De Silva?

Apart from being a singer, Yohani is also a Songwriter, Rapper, music producer, and businesswoman. Born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Yohani started her music career as a YouTuber. Initially, Yohani gained recognition for her rap cover of Deviyange Bare. After that, she released many covers of her singing and rapping on her YouTube channel. Soon after she earned the title “Rap Princess” of Sri Lanka.

She joined the Sri Lankan record label Pettah Effect and collaborated with other notable singers. One of her songs won the ‘best video remake’ award at Raigam SOME awards. She also performed at the Red Bull Presents concert.

In 2020, Yohani made her single debut Aaye which was produced by her in her own home studio in 2020.

Born to an ex-Army officer, and an ex-air hostess Yohani spent her childhood travelling a lot including Colombo District, different bases in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Bangladesh. Reportedly, her mother first identified her passion for music at an young age and helped her pursue it as her career.
