Viral Post: At 54, Salma Hayek Wows In Purple Bikini As She Celebrates Last Days Of 2020

Salma Hayek is all set to embrace the new year on a positive note. Despite 2020 has been for everyone, the 54-year-old actress shared a pair of pictures on Instagram on Tuesday and reflected that she has "never been more grateful for being healthy and in contact with nature." In the photos, the Desperado actress can be seen wearing a purple bikini on a beach as she celebrates “the last days of 2020.” She is married to billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

Her social media followers quickly started commenting on the picture as she posted the bold body look. One person wrote: "U r still hot as hell ," while a second added: "Beautiful woman." A third gushed: “Wow!! So hot and gorgeous!!”

Hayek turned 54 in September

Earlier, she had shared on Instagram that she is "very grateful and proud for every single one of my 54 years." Back in April, she spoke to People magazine promoting makeup-free appearance and also shared how insecurities about her image engulfed her once. "When I look at pictures of me in my 30s or in my 40s, I see myself more beautiful than I saw myself at the time," she said. "I used to criticize myself so much. Now when I look in the mirror and there are things that I don’t see, I think about how much I’m going to like me in 10 years," The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard actor Hayek added.

"Normally, when you don’t , it’s because you’re in a situation where you don’t feel the pressure to look your best," she said. "There’s a sense of just being present without needing to impress anyone," added the American-Mexican film actress who has 16.8 million Instagram followers. She acted in critically-acclaimed films like From Dusk till Dawn, Wild Wild West, and Dogma. She had her breakthrough role in the 2002 film Frida, as Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. She was nominated for Best Actress for the Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for her part in the film. Reportedly, the actress also appeared in court earlier this year as a witness against Harvey Weinstein for the rape allegations trial. The Oscar-nominated star alleged the Hollywood producer “tried to sink” her movie Frida.
