Kolkata Cop Helps Girl Student Reach Exam Centre On Time
A Kolkata Cop's kindhearted gesture of helping a crying student reach the exam centre has won hearts.
The cop, Inspector Souvik Chakraborty, OC Howrah Bridge Traffic Guard was patrolling when he met the student crying and asking for help. The girl student was unaccompanied as her family was attending her grandfather's funeral and the cop dropped the student off in his official vehicle.
Iran Schoolgirls Poisoned
An Iranian deputy claimed that "some people" were poisoning schoolgirls with the aim of shutting down education for girls.
Since late November, hundreds of cases of respiratory poisoning have been reported among schoolgirls mainly in Qom, south of Tehran.
