Author Radhika Khanna, Sister To Chef Vikas Khanna Is No More

Chef Vikas Khanna's sister author Radhika Khanna is no more. The Indian-origin American author Radhika passed away on February 28. Mourning her death, brother Khanna posted videos and pictures on social media saying, "My soulmate left me today."

Penning down a small note for his sister who had been sick for some time now, chef and filmmaker Khanna wrote on his Instagram feed, "My soulmate left me today. March 23, 1974- Feb 28, 2022. She fought like a champion with Lupus, aHUS, renal failure. But today due to multiple organ failures, my best friends passed away in my arms. Loveeeee you Radha forever and forever. RIP."

He shared it with a picture of them laughing carelessly while sitting at a bench. Radhika is seen wearing a black top and sunglasses while Vikas is wearing a light coloured t-shirt.

Vikas Khanna Sister Is No More

Today, Khanna posted a video encapsulating the time they spent and the memories they created. He wrote, "Even when she was semi-conscious, she kept telling the Drs that she wants to go home soon and protect Viku #MyRadha #SistersAreBlessing."

He posted a video of actor Madhuri Dixit addressing his sister and saying, "Hi Radhika, I heard your health is not keeping so well, I am very sorry for what you are going through. But I am sending you lots of prayers, good wishes and good thoughts your way. I hope you feel better soon, love you." He mentioned how this video by Dixit used to cheer up his sister.

Who Is Radhika Khanna?

Born in Amritsar, India, Radhika began her career at the age of 18 with a small boutique in Amritsar and soon moved to New York City. She was born to parents Bindu and Davinder Khanna on March 24, 1974. There she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and post-graduation worked with big brands like Donna Karan, Armani, amongst many others.

Later, she started her own fashion company, which is named Estilo Inc. Not only was she a professional in the field of fashion, but she was also an expert yoga practitioner and an author of books like Pose: Yoga for Working Professionals, Standout: Yoga and Self Defense, amongst others.
