Recently a video surfaced on social media of a spectacled woman in blue kurti fighting with a man on a bus in Vijayawada and then attacking the driver. After the video went viral, the police have reportedly arrested the woman. She alleged that the bus had hit her scooty while the driver argued that she was riding the vehicle on the wrong side of the road.
The 28-year-old K Nandini was arrested by the Vijayawada police after she allegedly attacked the bus driver of a state transport corporation. The incident took place on February 9, yesterday. As there was a crowd of people surrounding the situation, people took video of the alleged assault on their mobile cameras.

India Today reported the details of the incident and stated that the woman was riding a scooter, then she allegedly climbed inside the bus and thrashed the 42-year-old driver, whose name is Musalaiah. He was driving the bus AP 11 Z 7046.

The police report said that the woman was riding her vehicle on the wrong side of the road. The driver had allegedly asked the woman to wait as he took some time to move the bus. This allegedly led to an argument and she entered the bus and allegedly assaulted the driver. The driver then lodged a complaint at the Suryaraopet police station, who then arrested the accused woman. She has been charged with sections under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Netizens have been retweeting the video, condemning the violence by the woman in it. P Pavan, a journalist also share the video on social media and reported that the women passengers in the bus allegedly made unsuccessful efforts to convince the accused woman on dealing with the matter legally.
