Meet Vibha Harish, Bengaluru Entrepreneur In Forbes Asia's 30 'Under-30' List

Bengaluru entrepreneur Vibha Harish in Forbes list: 25-year-old young entrepreneur from Bengaluru, Vibha Harish has made it to Forbes Asia's 30 Under- 30 list. In just one year of starting up, her health supplement brand Cosmix is one of the fastest-growing ventures in the country.

Cosmix produces a range of natural food mixes made from herbs, plants and berries, which are the company says are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. In its citation, Forbes wrote, "The Bangalore-based startup makes nutritional powder supplements from fruits, herbs and roots, which it says can help boost immunity and improve sleep."

Here's what we know about Vibha Harish, CEO and founder of Cosmix:

1. Her personal health issue as a teenager motivated Harish to turn entrepreneur. She was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when she was in class 12.

2.Harish said in an interview that she noticed the absence of adequate nutrition for women, which became the prime source for launching her venture last year, news agency PTI reported.

3. Her brand offers "holistic solutions" for PCOS and other disorders. "My mother suggested that I go for herbal instead of any allopathic medicines. I started using herbs. Inspired by herbalism from the western world and Ayurveda from our own country, I started experimenting by myself," Harish noted.

4. In just one year, Harish boasts of a turnover of around Rs two crore at Cosmix. The productions of her products, which the company claims are completely natural, is supervised by her mother, who is a homoeopath by training.

6. She has a Research and Development team in Bangalore, to work on Cosmix's line of products. However, Harish said she had taken to studying herbalism herself now.

7. Cosmix has eight products for gut health, liver health, sleep, hair health, skin health.

8. "The internet was a confusing place when I started understanding PCOS with so many different opinions about workouts. The thing is, there is no “right” or “wrong” way. What’s important is to have daily movement and experiment with what works for you and your body," she wrote in an Instagram post about the tips on working out with PCOS. She also added that for her working out has been helpful in reducing certain PCOS symptoms like fatigue, mood swings, stress, anxiety, brain fog.

9. According to Forbes, Harish used part of her profits to fund the company's Nutrition for All program, which donates food and energy bars to malnourished children in rural India.
