An American mother used a location tracking app to find that her son was having sex with his school teacher. The mother, initially concerned about his whereabouts after finding her son missing in the rugby practice, used the location tracking app to track her son. The app showed that the son was in Park Road Park. When the mother reached there, to her shock, her 18-year-old son was in a compromising position with a 26-year-old teacher inside a car.
According to reports, the mother immediately captured a photo of the scene, the car, and its number plate and reported it to authorities to file a complaint. Since then, legal proceedings have been taken against the teacher.
Who was the teacher?
The teacher, Gabriela Cartaya-Neufeld, belonged to South Mecklenburg High School. Her inappropriate relationship with the woman's son was already in the news. The mother also knew about it and was vigilant. Reportedly, the teacher and the student had encounters earlier too. It happened in the teacher's car, on some days inside the mother's house, and on some days at the teacher's residence.
The teacher facing charges of illicit relationship
The rumours of the illicit relationship had been spreading since a month before the arrest. Both the teen and the teacher have been called for interrogation. Reportedly, the teacher was earlier charged with five counts of felony sexual activity. She was jailed by Mecklenburg County jail late last month but has been on bail since then.
