Mom Born On Leap Day Welcomed Baby On Leap Day As Well

Sharing the same birthday as their mother is an incredibly rare occurrence, with the odds of it happening being roughly 1 in 2.1 million. This unique coincidence has earned Chloe the nickname "Leap Day Miracle" from both her parents and hospital staff.

However, what makes Chloe an extra special blessing in the lives of Dr. Sun and Paik is beyond just a "leap day miracle" and the odds of sharing her birthday with her mom. As they shared, Chloe is a rainbow baby for Sun and Paik.

Dr. Sun, from her hospital bed, recounted going through a miscarriage with her husband almost exactly a year ago and shared that it makes Chloe more special to them.

Sun and her husband, Michael Paik, are already parents to two children. Chloe, weighing in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces, is a healthy addition to the family.

Sun also shared facing some challenges during her pregnancy, such as discovering some abnormal findings during early ultrasounds that made her nervous, having COVID-19 during pregnancy, and Dr. Sun falling on her belly in her third trimester.

While Sun initially expressed concern about Chloe's rapid breathing shortly after birth, doctors quickly confirmed everything was well, and the newborn is now "peacefully sleeping."

This heartwarming story of a mother and daughter sharing a unique birthday is sure to capture the hearts of many, highlighting the special bond they will share throughout their lives.
