A woman's love for Ludo took a dark turn when she developed a gambling addiction and put herself at stake after she ran out of money to bet with.
A woman in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, developed a Ludo addiction that resulted in her betting herself during a game and losing against her landlord.

The woman Renu used to gamble with the money her husband sent her from Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he worked.
The incident took place in the Devkali neighbourhood in Nagar Kotwali . The woman was addicted to ludo and she and her landlord used to play the game regularly.
Renu and her landlord were playing Ludo and placing wagers when Renu bet herself as she had no money to bet with.
She explained the entire situation to her husband over the phone. Her husband travelled to Pratapgarh and filed a police complaint. Additionally, he shared this incident on social media, where it is currently trending.
According to Renu's husband, he had resided in a Devkali rental home. He relocated to Jaipur six months ago for business and continued to give his wife money, which she spent on gambling. The couple has two children together.
According to the husband, the woman has moved in with the landlord and is not prepared to leave him, despite his best efforts to convince her to do so.
Subodh Gautam, a police official, stated, "We are attempting to contact the man and will launch an investigation as soon as we do."
