UP Village Teenager Found Dead: Near Aligarh's Akrabad area in Uttar Pradesh, an 18-year-old girl was found dead in a village. She had gone to an agricultural field but never came came on Wednesday, as per the police.
As per the compliant filed the the woman's family, she had stepped out of the house on Wednesday did not return after that. Her dead body was reportedly spotted the same evening by a villager in a field 500 meters far from her home. The family also claimed that there were signs of struggle and injuries marks on the woman's dead body and they made the family suspect sexual assault.
A senior police officer, Shubham Patel told the media that the post mortem report of the woman's body showed strangulation as the cause of her death and there were confirmed signs of sexual assault. A forensic team of experts are also conducting tests in the matter, results of which are still awaited.

The minor’s dead body was semi-nude when found, as per the police. Many speculated that she may have been stoned to death. A case of murder and rape has been registered against unknown persons, Times of India reported.
The victim was the eldest of three siblings. Her parents had registered a missing complaint a day prior to the dead body discovery. Police suspected that her body may have been dumped in the forests in a semi-nude condition after the alleged sexual assault.
