UP Rape Survivor Found Hanging From Tree: In yet another rape case reported from Uttar Pradesh, a minor rape survivor was found hanging from a tree in the sugarcane fields near her residence on Sunday.

As per reports, the incident took place in the Ikona village of Amroha, under the jurisdiction of the Adampur police station. The family members of the 17-year-old girl who was allegedly raped have alleged that she was killed by the accused rapist. They said that the accused had threatened her with murder.
The girl's dead body was seen hanging from a tree by a farmer in a field reportedly located 100 yards away from her village.
As per the complaint filed by the girl's family, a resident of the same village allegedly raped her on September 25. The family had registered a complaint against the accused after the alleged incident. The police in the area have reportedly booked the accused under the sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. However, the police are yet to nab the accused as they are absconding.
According to a report by the Times of India, the girl's family has alleged that the police are unable to arrest the accused person. They also claimed that the accused threatened the teenager and her family members after the incident took place.
They also alleged that the accused made them withdraw the rape case. Even after reaching out to the police they allegedly were not able to take any action in the matter, as per the family members. Sateesh Kumar Arya, the station house officer (SHO) of the Adampur police station reportedly said that some of the family members of the rape survivor have alleged that she was killed by the accused.

The police have registered another case in the matter highlighting the murder charges, as per reports.
