A man was reportedly beaten by fellow villagers in Uttar Pradesh for supposedly harassing a woman. The 40-year-old man then was reportedly paraded around the village on a donkey with his face painted black. No proof has been unearthed so far. A video of his thrashing was circulated widely on Tuesday night on social media
Villagers' Claim
The villagers strongly claim that the man dared to break into the woman's house and harassed her. However, the villagers caught him as soon as the woman raised an alarm. The Uttar Pradesh police said that the woman's family thrashed the man, blackened his face and then placed him on a donkey.
