UP Man Arrested For Sharing Girlfriend's Private Photos And Videos

A 25-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh was arrested for allegedly sharing private photos and videos of his girlfriend on Instagram and Facebook.

The police say that the man had threatened to harm the woman, who is a college student. This happened when she confronted him after he shared her photos and videos online.

On Tuesday, she a case was lodged against the accused, with police.

"The woman told the police that she and the accused were in a relationship and he had posted objectionable photos and videos of her on Facebook and Instagram. When confronted by the woman, the accused threatened to harm her," said a police spokesperson.

The man had been on the run, ever since his girlfriend complained to the police about his crime. He was then caught by the police, near the Sector 82 cut on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson said that a case has been filed under Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act.

UP man arrested for throwing acid on sister-in-law

A man was arrested for allegedly throwing acid on his sister-in-law while she was sleeping. The incident took place at Morti village, during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday at around 1.30 am.

The accused, named Lakhan Yadav, was married to the victim's elder sister but was allegedly trying to get physical with his sister-in-law.

He allegedly committed the crime, while he was at his in-laws' house. After throwing the acid, police said he accompanied his father-in-law to the hospital so that nobody suspects him. He later confessed to his crime, when an FIR was lodged against him by his father-in-law.

UP man arrested for killing his wife

A man was arrested for allegedly killing his wife, for not serving salad during dinner. He was caught by the police after he went into hiding in a jungle.
