UP: Home Guard Accuses Senior Of Forcing Him Into Having Sex

UP Home Guard: In Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur, a home guard has alleged that his senior at district commandant post tried to force him into having sex with him.

The accused officer has denied the charges and called them "baseless allegations" levelled by the home guard. The officer said that the home guard was reprimanded for being absent for days.

The home guard also accused the officer of taking ₹ 1,000 from him every month. He had sent the complaint to the director general some days ago. In his complaint, he wrote that the commandant was forcing him to give him a massage, cook food for him and have sex with him. He further alleged that the officer had asked for bribe from other home guards for reducing their age on paper so that they can work long after retirement.

The accused officer has maintained that he is "completely innocent", he said that the home guard was absent from dirty from February 20 to 27. The officer said. "After a complaint was received, the home guard was reprimanded and this made him angry. He is levelling baseless allegations. The matter is being probed."

Vinay Kumar, the Divisional Commandant of home guards posted in Bareilly said that the complainant was asked to present his side of the story on March 1 but he failed to show up. He added, "The home guard has been called again on March 18. Further action will be taken after knowing his side of the story."
