Rape no more feels like a precarious word, the usage has normally been incorporated into daily life. Every day, there is a rape story in some village or city. The rape incident has always a back story, which will send shivers down your spine, but who cares. Numbers are only reaching the sky. The total number of rape cases registered in India in 2021 was around 31 thousand. Rape cases increased in comparison to the previous years. Despite the fact that rape complaints have grown in recent years, it is still connected with shame for the survivor rather than the offender. In most cases, the victim knows the accused. It can be neighbour, friends, mutual connections, parents' friends, extended family members, or the father himself. At least this is what happened in the UP rape case, the father planned his daughter's rape and get her raped by his friend. Are we lost on morality? I mean father, isn't it iniquitous! Her father made her go through horrors she might have never thought of. Forget morality, where is the love and respect that a father should have for her daughter? This is not one case, there are many, where the friends, father, brother, and son acted as predators.
