A 20-year-old pregnant woman died by suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Khakpur village.
The woman was five months pregnant when she died by suicide. The incident took place on Monday night in the Suriyawan area, Station House Officer Pradeep Kumar said.
According to the police, the pregnant woman named Shivani was upset about the fact that her husband Raj Kumar Bind didn't take her along after he got a job in Goa. The police have sent her body for post-mortem, and are investigating the matter.

Five-month pregnant woman died by suicide over dowry harassment
In October last year, a five-month pregnant woman died by suicide, in Papireddy Nagar of Medchal-Malkajgiri district in Telangana. The woman named Krishna Priya was allegedly being harassed by her in-laws, and husband for dowry.
According to a report, the woman's mother had accused her son-in-law and the in-laws of harassing her for dowry. The mother then filed a police complaint against the family.
