10 Things About Uorfi Javed And Chitra Wagh Feud
- Chitra Wagh filed a police complaint against influencer at the start of 2023 and model Uorfi Javed for allegedly indulging in nudity on the street of Mumbai because of her outfits and demanded the actor's arrest.
- Javed posted a picture of Wagh posing with the complaint and said that she was proud of it. She called it a great way to start a new year and then went on to call out Chitra Wagh to disclose her earnings as a politician after which she will happily go to jail.
- Javed reportedly slammed Wagh for the complaint and said, "She is the same lady who was shouting for SANJAY RATHOD'S arrest when she was in NCP, then her husband was caught taking a bribe. To save her husband, she joined BJP and uske baad Sanjay or Chitra kaafi acche dost ban gaye. Mai bhi bas BJP join karne wali hun. Then we will be best friends".
- On January 9, Uorfi Javed tweeted a picture of herself in a backless blouse and saree and wrote, "Lekin abhi bhi bahot Sudhar baaki hai ! Sorry @ChitraKWagh ji ! I love you" starting an online dispute.
- Shortly after this on the same day, Javed made two tweets that were, "Meri dp itni dhaasu, Chitra Meri saasu" and "Uorfi ki underwear me chhed hai , Chitra tai great hai ".
- These tweets sparked memes on Twitter where netizens made fun of the way the influencer called out the politician for moral policing and even called her Chitra Wagh's daughter-in-law mockingly.
- Uorfi Javed also wrote a social media post dedicated to Chitra Wagh and said that there is no article in the Constitution of India that can send her to jail for her outfits. She also brought up the case of Bilkis Bano and said that while her rapists are roaming free, politicians are obsessed with her fashion choices.
- On January 13, Javed moved to Maharashtra State Commission for Women regarding the case and requested action against Chitra Wagh because of the comments she made about her in the public domain claiming that comments like these instigated attacks on her.
- Javed's lawyer Nitin Satpute reportedly said to the commission that since Wagh is a member of the ruling party, this suggests that the central government is supporting her and her views which can potentially harm the influencer.
- Satpute also allegedly claimed that they will also be approaching Mumbai Police to help them get a restraining order against the politician and prevent her from making any more statements against her.
