The agony among Iranians continues to rise as the country's brutal authorities leave no stone unturned in teaching the public a lesson for going against the national regime. On Monday, a young man was executed by being hanged publicly. The public expressed anger not just at the execution but also at the fact that he was sentenced to death in less than a month of being arrested and was denied a fair trial.
After 23-year-old Majidreza Rahnavard was publicly executed by Iranian authorities, a young unveiled woman hanged herself in a staged protest in the middle of the road in the city of Mashhad.

The woman staged this protest specifically after Iranian citizen Majidreza Rahnavard was publicly executed on Monday. 23-year-old Rahnavard was detained last month during one of the protests he was participating in. Rahnavard was hanged from a construction crane publicly in order to show the protestors an example of what would happen if they accelerated their protest.
Rahnavard was the second person to be detained in the nationwide protests against the country's oppressive regimes. He was convicted on grounds of 'enmity against God. What's even more terrifying is that he neither got a fair trial nor an opportunity to choose his own lawyer. While his mother was allowed to sit him the night before he was hanged, she was not informed of his execution until he was dead.
