Aliia Nasyrova Holds Guinness Record For Longest Hair
Nasyrova has been naturally blessed with remarkable hair growth. Her hair measures 92 centimeters when her height is 5 feet 4 inches (165 cm). This means that her hair is approximately 3 feet longer than her own height. Interestingly, the length of her hair exceeds the height of Sultan Kosen, the world's tallest man, who measures 8 feet 1 inch. Nasyrova's hair is 8 feet 5.3 inches long.
Nasyrova, who is 35 years old, works as a graphic illustrator and also models long hair. She loves to travel, but she knows that achieving her impressive hair length didn't happen overnight. Nasyrova has dedicated herself to natural haircare, which was inspired by her mother and grandmother.
Nasyrova was asked if she ever cut her hair, which trails on the ground if left unbraided into a bun. She revealed that she trims her hair periodically to maintain its health and strength. Nasyrova also shared that having good long hair runs in her family as her mother and grandmother also had long hair, and she follows their hair care routine.
Nasyrova mentioned that she washes her hair once a week, which usually takes about 30 minutes. She never uses heat products to dry her hair and prefers to let it dry naturally, even if it takes up to 24 hours to dry completely. Additionally, Nasyrova takes vitamins to keep her hair healthy, massages her scalp regularly, and visits oceans to soak her hair in natural minerals.
During an interview with GWR, Nasyrova shared that her inspiration comes from her mother, grandmother, and the fictional princess Rapunzel. She also expressed her hope that her record inspires people to "enjoy human beauty and be natural" and love their natural beauty As a painter, she believes that, "every person is beautiful even if they look different,"
