A UK-based author, Vicky Ball shared her happiness on X after successfully selling two books at an event in Chelmsford. Her humble post soon garnered 24 million views with 31,000 shares and over 740,000 likes from readers worldwide. 

Vicky Ball is a 48-year-old former school teacher from Colchester, Essex. Ball had been a teacher for nearly fifteen years. She was genuinely surprised to see her book Powerless shooting up Amazon's teen and young adult fiction chart. Powerless, originally released in 2021, is finally rising in the Amazon rankings.

Ball shared her excitement with BBC News, 

"I sold two books, which I was really happy about because sometimes I've had book events where I don't sell any. So, I just posted it on X and thought nothing of it and left it. But then a few days later I woke up and checked my phone and it was going a bit crazy. I was completely surprised really, and it was all a bit overwhelming. I was just amazed and couldn't believe it."

From Selling 2 Books To Becoming A Bestseller Novelist

Ball's books are getting worldwide attention with purchases from America, Belgium, and Columbia. Book Lovers are enjoying Mrs. Ball's Powerless and Abandoned. While 'Abandoned' revolves around an alcoholic mom hiding a dark secret, her bestseller novel 'Powerless' is a twisted thriller based on a missing girl's homecoming.
