The legal representative, Schillings, for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a statement which called this a clear signal against the inclusive paparazzi behaviour. The statement said, "..unlawful, invasive and intrusive paparazzi behaviour will not be tolerated and that the couple takes these matters seriously — just as any family would.”

The spokesperson of Schillings who gave the statement also said that a similar suit is going on in the British courts against Splash UK's sister company in the US, Splash US.

As per the agreement with High Court, Splash UK has said that it will photograph the Sussex family even after the company comes out of its current bankruptcy phase.

Meghan Markle is also suing Associated Newspapers, the company which publishes The Mail On Sunday and MailOnline for publishes a private letter that Meghan had written to her father. When Meghan had filed the lawsuit against the aforementioned news organisation, Prince Harry had come out with a statement which expressed how he doesn't want his family to go through what happened to his mother Princess Diana.

Princess Diana became the most photographed woman at one point in history and several documentaries and investigations allege UK tabloids responsible for her death.

Prince Harry's statement read, "My deepest fear is history repeating itself. I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces."
