'Ali Baba' Actor Tunisha Sharma Found Dead In Make-Up Room

Tunisha Sharma was a 20-years-old actor who starred as the main lead in the TV show Ali Baba : Dastaan-E-Kabul. The actor debuted on TV as a child actor in 2015 and has also worked in movies with stars like Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra.

2022 was a sad year for the TV and film industry as the audience lost some of their beloved actors. Artists like Sidhu Moosewala, Vaishali Takkar and Siddaanth Vir Suryavanshi died untimely and sudden death and shocked the public and as the year came to an end, another death is added to the list.

20-year-old actor Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the set of her show in the middle of the shoot. The actor's death came as a shock to the audience as she was very young and had featured in many shows and movies.

The last rites of the actor will be held on December 27 at the Mira Road cremation ground in Mumbai.

A forensic team visited the set of the television show where Sharma was found dead and seized various materials, including the crepe bandage she allegedly used to hang herself.

On December 31, the Vasai court in Maharashtra sent accused Sheezan Khan, the reported former boyfriend and co-star of Sharma to 14-day judicial custody. Khan remained in judicial custody until March 4, when he was granted bail by a Maharashtra court.

Actor Tunisha Sharma Death

On December 24, the actor was on the set of a show and reportedly, when she took a break and went to her make-up room. When she did not return, the team members went to check on her and she was found in the bathroom. Her body was found hanging and was rushed to the hospital. However, the doctors declared her dead on arrival. The police is considering this as a case of suicide but are still looking at all possible prospect of death.

The set was situated in the Naigaon area of Mumbai where the shoot was taking place. It is allegedly suspected that the actor was depressed and the police is taking statement of the people present during the shoot and her co-stars and friends. In the afternoon of December 24, the same day as her death, the actor posted a video of her getting her make-up done during the shoot on her social media. She also posted a picture of herself reading the script with the caption, "Those who are driven by their Passion Doesn’t stop."

Tunisha Sharma started her career in 2015 with Bharat Ka Veer Putra-Maharana Pratap in which she played the role of Chand Kanwar. She also starred in pivotal roles in the TV shows Chakravartin Ashok Samrat, Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Internet Wala Love and Hero-Gayab Mode On. The actor also worked in movies and played the role of young Katrina Kaif in Baar Baar Dekho and Fitoor in 2016 and Minnie in Kahaani 2 : Durga Rani Singh. She was currently playing the role of Shehzadi Mariam in the show Ali Baba : Dastaan-E-Kabul.
