Tirupati Female Software Engineer: On Wednesday, June 23, the Tirupati police found a suitcase with a dead body that was charred beyond recognition.
It was later identified as the body of a woman, Bhuvaneswari, who worked as a software engineer in Hyderabad. Police has made one arrest and is searching for the woman's husband who is the prime suspect.

1. On Wednesday, June 23, a burnt suitcase that contained the charred remains of a dead body was found near the SVRR Government General Hospital in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
2. The body was destroyed beyond recognition. So the police took assistance from the forensics team to identify its sex and age.
3. The police went through the CCTV footage from around the hospital to search for clues. They found the movement of a taxi to be suspicious and began to dig deeper into the case.
4. They questioned a taxi driver who allegedly confessed having assisted in the disposal of the body.
5. On Monday, June 28, the Tirupati police identified the body to be that of a 27-year-old woman who worked as a software engineer with a major tech firm in Hyderabad.
6. The deceased woman hailed from Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district. She married Srikanth Reddy of Kadapa in 2019. They have a three-month-old child.
7. Bhuvaneswari's husband, Srikanth lost his job in 2020 and the couple relocated to Tirupati.
8. As per Times of India report, Srikant and Bhuvaneshwari used to have frequent quarrels.
9. It was during one such heated argument that Bhuvaneshwari's husband allegedly murdered her, packed her body in the suitcase and threw it in an isolated spot near the hospital. He returned later that night with some petrol to set fire to the suitcase and fled.
10. The police has arrested the taxi driver who allegedly aided Srikant. They are now looking for for him.
