Three School Boys Repeatedly Rape Classmate, Post Video Online: Report

In Jodhpur, three 12th standard schoolboys allegedly gangraped their 17-year-old classmate repeatedly for seven months. A video of the act was shot by the accused and posted online. The survivor’s uncle has filed a case in the Phalodi police station, but the boys are missing since the incident came to light.

A complaint was registered by a 17-year-old schoolgirl that three of her classmates have been raping her for the past seven months.

The minor girl was reportedly in a physical relationship with one of the accused students. The accused also shot a video of the act and blackmailed her of leaking the video, following which two other accused allegedly began to sexually assault her. All three of the students repeatedly raped the girl for seven months, and survivor reportedly kept quiet out of fear of the video being leaked.

The Phalodi police station in-charge, Paras Soni, told TNIE, "On Wednesday, a complaint was registered by a 17-year-old schoolgirl that three of her classmates have been raping her for the past seven months threatening to release the video. The girl has undergone a medical examination and said that the (aforementioned) video has been made viral. We will seize the mobile phones once the accused are nabbed and conduct a thorough investigation."

It is still doubtful if the accused are minors or not. The police have registered a case against the three under Section 376-D, 3/4 and 5/6 of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act and Section - 67 of the IT Act and have begun an investigation.

Similar incidences from past

In July last year, a minor student was allegedly raped by four of her cousins, in the government school’s campus in UP's Sitapur, reason being that she was better than them in studies. She was allegedly sedated and then raped on several occasions in the school premises, the main reason being jealousy. It is also reported that a teacher not only aided her cousins in the act but also participated in the sexual assault.

In April 2018, a class 11 girl was allegedly gagged and raped by three men in a moving car in Greater Noida, one who was a classmate of hers while another was a distant relative.
