Practice
The prodigy has worked really hard to achieve this. She used to practice during the wee hours everyday on the same road where she scripted it. Her parents Deepa and Sunil Nalavade were extremely delighted with her performance. They extended their gratitude to all coaches and staff members of their daughters' school. “We had given a deadline of 60 seconds and below to cover a distance of 400 metres. It’s not just skating but the girl had to keep her eyes closed. So, it was important for us to know that she could manage to scale the distance without looking at the road,” said Ojal’s father Sunil Nalavade, as per a report by The Indian Express.

There have been many girls in the past who have made such records. For instance, a nine-year-old girl set a new Guinness record with 42 full-body revolutions in one minute last year. She is from Udyavar near Udupi. The record is for most full-body revolutions upholding a chest stand position. She created this record on April 7, 2018.

In another bizzare incident, two women from Gujarat ran backwards for 53 kilometres in an attempt to create a world record. Sisters-in-law Twinkle and Swati Thakar covered the distance in a total of 13 hours beginning their run in Bardoli and finishing in Dandi. Said Swati Thakar, “Every woman is special, they just need to come forward and show their skills to the people.”
It is good to see girls and women taking up challenging tasks and proving their mettle in fields that interest them. More power to each of them.
