A 21-year-old college student was reportedly shot dead by her stalker in Ballabgarh, Haryana. The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon outside Aggarwal College. Here are ten things to know about the case.

1. A 21-year-old student was shot dead around 3 pm on Monday afternoon in Faridabad district of Haryana.
2. The deceased woman, who was a final year BCom student at the Aggarwal College in Ballabgarh, had stepped out with a friend after writing examination.
3. Two men reportedly tried to abduct the deceased woman, forcing her into their car. When the attempt failed, one of the accused men shot her fatally and fled the scene of crime with his accomplice.
4. The entire incident was caught in a CCTV camera, footage of which has since gone viral on social media. In the video, the two accused can be seen getting out of a white car, and trying to force the woman into it. The college student's friend can be seen trying to resist the attempt. One of the accused men then shoots the woman and flees with his companion.
5. One of the accused men, named Tauseef, has been arrested by the police and is now being questioned.
6. The woman's father has alleged that the accused had a history of harassing her. He was a batchmate of the woman from school, who was infatuated with her. The accused had also abducted the deceased woman before. While the family had filed an FIR against him, they had withdrawn it due to social stigma.
7. "NCW is taking suo moto cognizance of the incident and writing to DGP Haryana to nab the other accused," said Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of National Commission for Women (NCW).
8. Owing to the religion of the accused and the deceased woman, many people on social media have called this an incident of "love jihad".
9. An FIR has been registered in the case under Sections 302 (murder), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 25 of the Arms Act.
10. The deceased college student's mother has demanded justice for her daughter. "They should be shot the same way they shot her," she told NDTV.
