A primary school teacher in Delhi was detained for allegedly attacking a class 5 student with a scissor and throwing her from the first floor of the school building. The incident took place at the Prathmik Vidyalaya in the Model Basti area in Delhi.
The class teacher, identified as Geeta Deshwal first hit the child with scissors and then threw her from the first floor of the building.
A senior police officer said the injured girl is under treatment at the Hindu Rao hospital and is out of danger. The accused has also been detained. '
Reportedly, another teacher attempted to intervene but was unsuccessful.

Delhi Teacher Throws Girl Student Off First Floor
The girl student was quoted by Asian News International (ANI) saying, "I was hit with a pair of scissors and she pulled my hair and then threw me from the school's first floor".
The young girl added, "I did not do anything wrong".
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said a case of attempt to murder against the accused is being registered on the statement of the eyewitness.
Chauhan said the beat officer of Desh Bandhu Gupta Road received information that a child was thrown from the first floor of the classroom in the area and that a large group of people gathered at the stop.
Police officers took the girl to a nearby hospital. Reportedly, the child underwent several necessary tests, including a CT scan and is currently safe and stable.
A senior Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) official told Press Trust of India that the MCD suspended the accused Geeta Deshwal with immediate effect. The official added that further investigations are being conducted by the department.
