Actor Swastika Mukherjee took to Facebook to reveal she would not be participating in any of the promotional activities for her upcoming film Shibpur. Mukherjee had earlier alleged that one of the film's co-producers had sexually harassed her.
In March, Mukherjee had filed a formal complaint with Kolkata's Golf Green Police Station after receiving threatening emails from the film's co-producer Sandeep Sarkar and his friends.
The actor also requested assistance from the Eastern India Motion Pictures Association (EIMPA) and alleged that they morphed her images to make them nude and threatened to release the altered images on porn websites.
Sarkar's name was then removed from the film's credit list.
