Jhalak Tomar, a junior woman boxer from India, wanted to represent India at an international boxing tournament 'Valeria Demyanova Memorial' in Ukraine. But what was stopping her from flying is that the boxer didn't have a passport. Our beloved External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, came to the rescue.

Swaraj promised Jhalak an assured trip and accelerated the process of getting her a passport. The minister even took to Twitter to announce the good news to the boxer and said now she "has to win" a medal and make India proud.

Jhalak Tomar has won the bronze medal in the 54 kg weight category at the recently concluded Junior Women's National Boxing Championship.
The young medalist belongs to a small village in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Her latest feat at the national ring has already earned her a berth at the upcoming competition, which to be held in Nadvirna city of Ukraine but like most of the sportsperson from the country, she too doesn't have a passport.
