Karishma was summoned in connection with the drug probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and an alleged racket in the film industry. She was to appear before NCB on Wednesday.
Previously, the federal agency had searched her residence in Mumbai's Versova. The NCB reportedly recovered 1.7 grams of hashish and three bottles of Cannabidiol (CBD) oil from there. According to the reports, NCB wanted to question Prakash regarding her WhatsApp chats which had conversations about drugs. She was earlier questioned in September.
Prakash came into limelight after a series of WhatsApp conversations had gone viral where Deepika Padukone was found allegedly asking for hash (or hashish, a drug made from the cannabis plant) from a certain person, who many believe to be her manager, Karishma Prakash.
