Sukesh Chandrasekhar, alleged conman, and actor Jacqueline Fernandez have been in the news for quite some time. Chandrasekhar was arrested for allegedly extorting Rs 200 crores from a businessman's wife.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in their chargesheet claimed that while he was on bail, he used to meet Fernandez and gave her expensive gifts. They mentioned that Chandrasekhar met with Fernandez four times and had also arranged a private jet for their meetings. The pictures of the duo went viral on the internet and sparked controversy.

Chandrasekhar's lawyer, Anant Malik had earlier told the media, "Jacqueline and Sukesh were dating, these are my instructions, this is straight from the horse's mouth." However, Jaqueline Fernandez has denied such claims. Her spokesperson had released a statement in which they shared how the actor is cooperating with the ED and added, "Jacqueline also categorically denies alleged slanderous statements made about her relationship with the involved couple."
As per a recent report by India Today, some OTT platforms are planning on making a series based on the controversy. An insider quoted in the report said, "This case is perfect fodder for a series or documentary on the subject. Hence, there is already a beeline of producers discussing how to turn this into either a movie or a web show. A few names are also being discussed on who might play Sukesh and Jacqueline in the project. It is the biggest con operation we have seen in recent times."
The ongoing controversy will reportedly be fictionalised for the OTT platforms. Some reports also mentioned that Chandrasekhar had promised to produce a superhero film for Jacqueline Fernandez. The project was going to be mounted on a huge scale on the budget of Rs 500 crore. A source told the publication that Chandrasekhar knew that Fernandez was looking for work in Bollywood and allegedly used her vulnerability to woo her.

" In one such conversation, he promised her that he would produce India’s first woman superhero project with her that would involve Hollywood VFX artists, and it will be shot on a global scale. He told Jacqueline that she resembled Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and she deserved a superhero series made around her, " the source was quoted.
The actor has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate multiple times for her alleged links with the conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar and the money laundering case.
