Sugandha Mishra COVID-19 protocols: Comedian Sugandha Mishra has been booked for allegedly breaching COVID-19 protocols during her wedding with Sanket Bhosale. Their wedding took place at a resort in Phagwara, Punjab on April 26.
On Wednesday night, the police registered a case against Sugandha Mishra, the bridegroom's side, the resort owner, and the participants too. This happened after a video from the wedding went viral. The video reportedly showed a large gathering of people at the wedding, which goes against the COVID-19 protocols. Deputy Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh said that a case was registered under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act.
The DSP then added that no arrests have been made so far, and the investigation is still going on.
Recently, Sanket Bhosale had shared a reel captioned shaadi ke baad on Instagram just a few days after his marriage. In the reel, his wife Sugandha Mishra instructs him on how he can make his tea for himself when he tells her to make some.
