Sucheta Satish, a 13-year-old girl won the 100 Global Child Prodigy Award for singing in most languages during one concert and the longest live singing concert by a child. The Indian girl from Dubai can sing in 120 languages.

Sucheta wins Global Child Prodigy Award
Sucheta is a student in Dubai Indian High School. She recently launched her second album 'Ya Habibi' in the presence of Malayalam superstar Mammooty and actor Unni Mukundan. Satish met both the actors when they were in Dubai for the promotion of the movie Mamangam. According to Economic Times, She told Khaleej Times, “I was selected for the award for my twin world records for singing in most languages during one concert and the longest live singing concert by a child which I had set as a 12-year-old two years ago in Dubai at the Indian Consulate Auditorium when I sang in 102 languages over 6.15 hours.”

Sucheta started singing in foreign languages in the year 2016. As per Times of India, Sucheta already knew to sing in some Indian languages like Hindi, Malyalam and Tamil. She also sang English songs.

Satish practices music every day and balances it along with her studies. She also toldKhaleej Times, “I make it a point to practise every day and by God's grace, I have been able to manage that without affecting my studies.” She further added, “I have to admit that the CBSE curriculum is tough. I have felt it would be nice if at least the homework given to students is significantly reduced so that students can concentrate on extracurricular activities like arts and sports even better.”
However, Satish's biggest dream is to perform at Expo 2020 Al Wasl Plaza. She wants to sing her song “Fifty Glorious Years” live with the composer Monty Sharma and his orchestra. She wants to do so in the presence of the lyricist and poet Dr Shihab Ghanem at the iconic Al Wasl Plaza venue at the Dubai Expo 2020.

Global Child Prodigy Awards
AR Rahman and DR APJ Abdul Kalam International foundation support The 100 Global Child Prodigy award. According to Khaleej Times, “The award ceremony is in New Delhi on Friday, when 100 Global Child prodigies across the world will be honoured in different categories. Satish is particularly excited to meet the Nobel Peace prize winner Kailash Sathyarthi who is the chief guest for the programme.
The awards honour the kids with talent and power in different categories. Some of these categories are dancing, music, arts, writing, acting, modelling, science, innovation, sports etc.
