After long anticipation, students and parents are finally provided with relief as CBSE as well as CISCE announced the "student-friendly" decision, supported by PM Modi and others, of cancelling this year's board exams.
Board Exams 2021 Cancelled
Students spoke to SheThePeople to express their joy regarding the same.
Kasturi Hazra, who was supposed to sit for the ISC boards exam this year said, "I am very happy that we finally got rid of the stress of board exams amidst a pandemic...but I am also confused about the objective criterion for our results and whether we should opt for re-examination."
The 18-year-old student further mentioned the major stress of every class 12th student right now, "I hope our results are served at the earliest so that we can start thinking about our college admissions."
Ayantika Mondal, who although praised the centre's decision to cancel the exam, stated the hardship they are going to face during the college admissions is inevitable as the marking system won't be fair. "Considering the current situation, this is the best decision but on the distant picture is scary as, I believe, a fair marking system will not be possible, affecting college admissions adversely."
Students also took to their Twitter accounts to express their reactions. A user tweeted under PM Modi's tweet, "I have studied day and night for board exams," regretting the cancellation of the exams.
Parents and students flooded the comments section of the respective tweets by Kejriwal and Modi, congratulating the decision taken in view of the health of the students.
Thank you Modiji for keeping life of the Students at utmost priority. There is nothing precious than life of those young buddies, youth who are the future of the Nation.

Netizens, however, criticised the Government for not providing a stable decision on other exams like the UPSC.
But what about the upsc last attempt candidates 2020. We are still waiting . Was it our fault, no it was Covid19 . Give us a chance.
