Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti announced a scholarship fund worth 35,000 dollars for physics students at the UC Berkeley on the occasion of her deceased brother's birth anniversary. She posted about the same on her Twitter handle.

She also shared a snippet of all the details about the scholarship fund on the website of UC Berkeley. It said that any graduate student who wishes to pursue physics can seek support for pursuing the degree in the Department of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley. However, it said that preference would be given to students studying Astrophysics. The snippet also mentioned that Sushant Singh Rajput had a passion for astronomy and astrophysics and was a National Physics Olympiad winner besides being an accomplished actor. The scholarship is worth over 25.5 lakh rupees in Indian currency.

Kirti shared a beautiful collage featuring her brother. The picture went viral on social media and garnered a lot of love from netizens. "Love you Bhai You are part of me and will always remain so... #SushantDay," she wrote.
She also shared a memorable photo of her late mother holding a smiling Sushant when he was a child. "This smile can melt every heart ❤️ Happy #SushantDay, " she captioned.
The actor was found dead on 14th June 2020 in his apartment. Agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are still investigating the circumstances that might have lead to his death.
