On the fateful day of June 14, 2020, the world received shockwaves as the news of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death broke out. Rajput, who was a known name and an exemplary performer, allegedly died by suicide and the events that followed were mortifying. Today, June 14, marks the second death anniversary of the spectacular actor who was last seen in The Fault In Our Stars adaptation named Dil Bechara.
Both his sister and actor Rhea Chakraborty, who was in a relationship with the actor before his demise, took to social media and shared photos of the late actor and wrote a heartfelt caption.

His sister Shweta Singh Kirti penned down an Instagram note remembering him and wrote, "It has been 2 years since you left for your mortal abode, Bhai, but you have become immortal because of the values you stood for. Kindness, compassion and love for all were your virtues. You wanted to do so much for so many. We shall continue to model after your wonderful virtues and ideals in your honour."
She then added, "Bhai, you have changed the world for the better and will continue to do so even in your absence. Let us all light a lamp today and perform a selfless action to bring a smile to someone’s face." The post has been liked by 75K people. Over 2400 people have commented on it so far.

Rhea shared a series of throwback pictures and penned an emotional note for him. In the pictures, the couple is seen spending some good time together. "Miss you every day," she wrote.
Actor Sara Ali Khan also remembered her first co-star Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away in 2020 by sharing a picture with Sushant from her first film Kedarnath which was released in 2018.
"From facing the camera for the first time to seeing Jupiter and the Moon through your telescope- so many firsts have happened because of you. Thank you for giving me all those moments and memories. Today on Full Moon night when I look up at the sky I know you’ll be up there amongst your favourite stars and constellations, shining bright. Now and forever," she wrote remembering Rajput.
His Bollywood journey
He started his career in the industry as a dancer and later joined a theatre group. His performance in Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta received a lot of praise. Post that, he left television to make a mark in Bollywood. He has entertained audiences with movies like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore, Kedarnath and others.
