Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, parents of Sidhu Moosewala, recently celebrated the arrival of a baby boy into their family. The joyous news was revealed by Balkaur on Facebook, where he also shared a heartfelt photo of the newborn. The birth of their son comes nearly two years after the passing of the renowned Punjabi singer.

Singh expressed gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon their family, stating, "With the blessings of lakhs and crores of people who love Shubhdeep, the Almighty has blessed us with Shubh’s little brother,” Balkaur said in his post. “The family is healthy and I am grateful for the immense love of all well-wishers.”

The post comes after the late singer's father, Balkaur Singh, had stirred speculation with a cryptic Facebook post. Singh took to the social media platform on March 12 to address the swirling rumours concerning their family. In his message written in Punjabi, he informed readers not to believe the various speculations surrounding them, emphasising that any significant developments would be shared with their well-wishers at the appropriate juncture.

Sidhu Moosewala, a prominent figure in the Punjabi music scene, tragically lost his life to assailants on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, at the age of 28. For the past two years following Moosewala's tragic demise, his parents have been living in solitude, seeking justice for their son. The village had remained sombre, devoid of any celebrations.

The arrival of the baby boy, born around 5 am on Sunday morning, March 17, brought renewed happiness to the household. Despite Moosewala's absence, his songs filled the air, and celebrations were in full swing. While Moosewala's parents are yet to return from the hospital, the village eagerly awaits their grand homecoming.

Despite his untimely demise, Moosewala's musical legacy lives on through the numerous tracks he composed and produced, many of which have been released posthumously and amassed millions of views. In 2017, Moosewala made his debut in the music industry with his inaugural song, G Waggon, marking the beginning of a successful career that saw him rise to fame with subsequent albums.
