Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti said that "tough times don’t last, but tough people do." She shared a video on Twitter on October 7 to thank her supporters for joining in her endeavour 'Sushant Earth Day'.
Kirti further wrote on Twitter, “We are strong and ever so powerful, we just need to believe in our own strength. Staying strong is an art and an unfailing promise to oneself that no matter what is thrown at me I’ll never ever breakdown!”

As per her video, more than three lakh people reportedly showed their support by switching off the electricity and lighting up the candles. Shweta has been advocating 'Justice for Sushant' on social media after his death. She started different initiatives in the memory of her late brother. In September, she also urged people to plant trees in memory of the late actor by initiating a plantation drive.
After the plantation drive, she urged fans to observe September 27 as Sushant Earth Day. Shweta asked fans to switch off lights for 15 minutes and light up a candle or a diya and use #SushantEarthDay on social media.

U-Turn in Sushant Singh Rajput case
Recently, Shweta took to her Twitter account to share a report by Republic TV. Reportedly Dr Sudhir Gupta, the forensic head of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), who was heading the panel re-evaluating Rajput’s post-mortem report confirmed in his report that Rajput died by suicide.

Following which she said that this kind of U-Turn should be explained and demanded a fresh forensic investigation.

As per reports on October 6, Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh moved to the Bombay High Court and filed the petition to squash the FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty. The Bandra police lodged the FIR against them on September 7.

Chakraborty accused the sisters and Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for prescribing Rajput medicines that were prohibited under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
The Bombay High Court on October 7 granted bail to Chakraborty. However, her brother Showik Chakraborty is to remain in custody as his bail plea has been rejected. You can read more from here
The CBI is investigating Rajput's death, who was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
