Actor Shilpa Shetty moved to Bombay High Court and filed a defamation case against media outlets and 29 media personnel for allegedly 'doing false reporting and maligning her image'.
The complaint is reported to be in relation to the reporting of the pornographic scandal involving her husband and businessman Raj Kundra, as per ANI.
Shetty has filed a case in Bombay High Court asking for a restrain of the publishing of "incorrect, false, malicious and defamatory" content against her on websites or social media. The hearing of her petition has been scheduled for tomorrow, July 30.

As per a report by Bar and Bench, the media outlets mentioned in Shetty's plea are NDTV, Free Press Journal, India TV, New Indian Express, Instagram and Facebook among others.
The British-Indian businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 for allegedly making pornographic films and distributing them on a mobile application called HotShots. Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Kundra has challenged his arrest, calling it 'illegal', in Bombay high court but his plea got rejected. Kundra has maintained that he did not make porn films, the content produced and distributed by him is erotic and doesn't show explicit sex scenes.
As per a report by ANI, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has also imposed a fine of three lakh rupees on Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra for violation of Insider Trading rules.
Shilpa Shetty, according to the Mumbai Crime Branch, has been given clean chit in the pornographic films' case.
On July 29, the anticipatory bail plea by actor Sherlyn Chopra was denied by the Bombay High Court. She will have to visit the Mumbai police crime branch for questioning in connection with the pornography case. Chopra has accused Raj Kundra of sexual assault.
