Shilpa Shetty duping allegations: The list of legal troubles for Shilpa Shetty seems to be expanding with fresh allegations of duping emerging against the Bollywood actor.
As per latest reports, two persons from Lucknow have accused Shetty of defrauding them on promises of opening a wellness centre leading to the Uttar Pradesh police issuing her a notice. Her mother Sunanda Shetty has also been named in the case. More on that here.
Two First Information Reports (FIRs) in the fraud case against Shetty and her mother have been registered in Lucknow, reports claim. Complainants are one Jyotsna Chauhan and one Rohit Veer Singh who have alleged Shetty cheated them of money.

The complainants claim Shetty, the Chairman of a wellness chain named IOSIS, and Sunanda, the director, took money in crores for the opening and operations of a branch of the centre but allegedly did not see the project through.
Investigating officers from Lucknow on Wednesday reached Shetty's Mumbai residence for interrogation in the wellness centre case, as per reports.
Kiran Bawa, founder of the IOSIS chain, speaking on the controversy claims Shetty and her mother "have parted ways amicably long ago" with the company. "Hence, please stop spreading rumours and aspersions... IOSIS is my baby and a brand I have built over the years... I have taken utmost efforts and pains to create a goodwill and reputation," she added in a statement posted to Instagram on August 11.
Shetty's husband, businessman Raj Kundra, meanwhile is currently arrested in a separate case related to the production and distribution of illegal pornographic content online.
