Cricketer Shikha Pandey regained her position in the top 10 in the women’s ICC ODI player rankings. The women’s ICC ODI player rankings list was issued on April 6, 2021.
In 2019, Shikha Pandey was ranked in fifth place for the ODI bowling rankings, her career-best. Pandey had last played an ODI in November 2019. In the newest ranking list, the pacer Pandey regained her place in the top 10 list and is ranked tenth.
Pandey made her debut in an international Twenty20 match in March 2014. She also made her One Day International cricket (ODI) debut and Test cricket debut in August 2014. Pandey’s career in cricket began at the age of 15 when she was selected to play for Goa in 2004. She was then selected to play for the 2007-08 domestic season for Goa’s Women Senior State Side.
Cricketer Shikha Pandey is the second player from Goa to play for any Indian national team, the first person being Dilip Sardesai. She is also the first cricketer associated with Goa Cricket Association to play international level cricket for India. Pandey is also the first cricketer born in Goa to play ODIs and international T20s. She was part of the Indian team that reached the finals of the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

In batting, opener Smriti Mandhana and skipper Mithali Raj retained their rankings in the top 10 player list. Mandhana is ranked seventh with her score of 710 points and Raj is ranked eight with her score of 709.
In bowling, fast bowler Jhulan Goswami remained at her rank of fifth place with 681 points and Poonam Yadav is ranked at eighth place with 641 points.
In all-rounders, Deepti Sharma retained her position at fifth place with 343 points. She is the only Indian to feature in the top 10 for all-rounders.
