Recently, one of Rhea Chakraborty's close friends from the industry, Shibani Dandekar slammed Ankita Lokhande on social media. Dandekar lost her cool and came down heavily on Lokhande after the Pavitra Rishta actress Lokhande penned an open letter and accused Chakraborty of allowing Sushant Singh Rajput to consume drugs. Reacting to the letter, now shared widely on all social platforms, Dandekar tagged Lokhande as a "princess of patriarchy" and blamed that the TV actress has played a "major role in this 'witch-hunt'."
Lokhande on Wednesday put up a clarification on her social media accounts and took a jibe at Chakraborty. Addressing the actor from the film Jalebi, Lokhande wrote: "On one hand, she says she was coordinating with all the doctors for his betterment of health on request of SSR, and on the other hand, she was coordinating drug logistics for him. Would anyone, who claims to have loved someone so deeply, allow the other person to consume drugs claiming to know his mental state and condition?" Further explaining her views on the late actor’s death probe, Lokhande said that being the closest person to Sushant Rhea should have prohibited him from consuming drugs.

Dandekar also suggested that Lokhande is still dealing with her issues with Sushant and lashed out at her for "capitalising on Rhea being targeted."
In a tweet, directed at Lokhande's post, Dandekar wrote, "This woman clearly wants her 2 seconds of fame and has capitalised on Rhea being targeted because she has had never dealt with her own relationship issues with Sushant.. she has been the driving force behind this and she needs to be called out!"
"She also just needs to shut the hell up. Enough Ankita! No one has more hate in their heart (?) than you," Shibani Dandekar wrote in her Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty has said in her bail petition that she has "not committed any crime whatsoever and has been falsely implicated in the case," NDTV reported.
"During her custody, the applicant was coerced into making self-incriminatory confessions. By her application dated September 8, the applicant has formally retracted all such incriminatory confessions," said 28-year-old Chakraborty in her petition.
Sushant, 34, was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14. His death has sparked a series of controversies and Rhea was subsequently arrested on Monday on the charges of buying drugs for the late actor. She was moved to Byculla Jail, the only prison for women in Mumbai after she was sent in judicial custody till September 22 by a local court.
Rhea Chakraborty is currently under arrest and CBI is investigating her role in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The opinions expressed are not to question the investigation but simply report on media coverage on the issue.
