Those waiting to see Serena Williams’s baby girl can now get a sneak peek at the tennis star's bundle of joy. The proud new mom shared her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr's photo on on Instagram on Wednesday (Sept 13), almost two weeks after her birth.
Adorable, isn’t?
On her daughter’ debut post, Serena says in a sweet clip: “So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days. It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl!”
Serena, while celebrating her newfound motherhood, shared a lengthy video that documented her entire pregnancy

She revealed baby Alexis’ first photo and name in style. It was a montage of memorable moments from her pregnancy, including ultrasound, belly bump selfies and the parents-to-be assembling the nursery. Williams seems to be enjoying every moment of motherhood.
The couple welcomed their baby girl on September 1 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion wasn’t resting during her pregnancy. She has been eyeing Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 singles titles. Her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, confirmed that Serena is hoping to return for the Australian Open title in January 2018.
Speaking to Eurosport, Mouratoglou said: “As soon as we feel she is ready to compete, she will. If that is Australia, that’s great. If it’s a bit later, that’s fine. She says she still has things to achieve in tennis. She is both a tennis player and a mother, and she has to deal with both of them. She wants to be able to win slams, otherwise she will stop.
“For Serena, anything is possible. I cannot put any kind of limit on her. Any time I’ve thought she won’t make it, she did. Which I don’t do any more.”
