Saudi Man Marries 53 times
A Saudi man has claimed to have married 53 times, to different women, over the course of 43 years of his lifetime. Being called the ‘polygamist of the century', the 63-year-old Abu Abdullah said the reason behind his multiple marriages was his “search for a woman who could make him happy.”

The man further said that he wasn't acting in this way to pursue personal pleasure but rather to find “peace and stability”.

In a recent interview with a Saudi-owned TV channel, Abu revealed the story of his marriage expedition.

“I have married 53 women over the years. I was 20 at the time of my first marriage and the woman was six years older than me. During the first marriage I had no plans to marry more than one woman. I felt comfortable with her and we had a baby,” he said.

However, after a few years, problems arose in that relationship, due to which Abdullah decided to marry again at the age of 23. He had informed his first wife about that decision.

But, despite the second marriage, he claims to did not find happiness. Abdullah decided to marry for the third and fourth times. after trouble brew between the first two wives. However, he later divorced his first three wives because he wanted to be married to a woman who could make him “happy.”

He added that “most of his marriages were to Saudi women", but he has also married foreigners during his overseas business trips. “I used to stay for three to four months. So I married to protect myself from vice,” Abdullah said. He also said that his shortest spell of marriage was a one-night event.

"Every man in the world wishes to have one woman and remain with her forever. Stability is not to be found with a young woman, but with an old one," he further said.

Meanwhile, the polygamist is reportedly now married to one woman. According to him, he does not plan to remarry.

A similar news surfaced recently from Kenya. A 61-year-old African man named ">David Sakayo Kaluhana has 15 wives and 107 children and all of them live together without any discontent. Kaluhana, who lives in a rural village of Western Kenya, was heard saying that he possesses a high IQ, which cannot be handled by one wife. The man is a historian, who claims to have read over 4000 books. In the video, he asserted that all his wives share the duties among themselves and live happily with each other. Kaluhana said that he was inspired by King Solomon, who had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
