Haryanvi dancer Sapna Chaudhary was accused of cheating and breach of trust. An arrest warrant was issued against Chaudhary for being absent at an event.
She was reportedly paid in advance for the same event organised in 2018. Organisers took the matter to the court for Chaudhary's alleged fraud. Chaudhary will now be presented in Lucknow's Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (ACJM).
A celebrity management company managing Sapna Chaudhary also sued her mother and brother for criminal conspiracy, cheating, and misappropriation of funds. All the other accused including Sapna will be tried in court. The next hearing on the matter is scheduled on August 30.
The case was filed when Chaudhary failed to attend an event at Smriti Upvan, Lucknow. The event was house-full as thousands of people attended it. Due to Chaudhary's absence, the audience created a fuss, and organisers received a backlash. Thus the show was cancelled, and organiser had to bear the losses.
Sapna Chaudhary Arrest Warrant
As per the First Information Report (FIR), the organiser claimed that the Haryanvi dancer broke an artist management agreement. The agreement mentioned her exclusivity working with them and not to join any other company or have direct or indirect contact with any client of the complainant. These terms were breached and forced the complainant to drag the matter to court.

This is not the first time Sapna was accused of cheating and breach of trust. Earlier this year, in February, A cheating case was registered against the singer-dancer with Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing.
Sapna Chaudhary is a household name in the Haryana's entertainment industry. Chaudhary's popularity increased in the North belt when she appeared on the Television reality show Bigg Boss, season 11. Chaudhary's song - Teri Ankhiya Ka Yo Kajal broke many records. For instance- on YouTube, it crossed 500 million views and became one of the most-watched Haryanvi songs.
