Electoral Dynamics in Rajasthan

Bharatpur constituency has eight assembly seats and is located in Rajasthan's easternmost district, bordering Mathura-Agra. It is significant because of its link with the state's Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma, who comes from the Nadbai area of this district. In the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the BJP won 14 seats in Rajasthan, while the Congress won eight. In addition, CPI(M), RLP, and BSP each secured one seat. Among these victories, the Congress Party won in Ganganagar, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, and Barmer constituencies.
