Patricia Parker is an American professional wrestler, goes with ring name Jordynne Grace, was reportedly advised by former ECW star The Sandman that “women shouldn't be in the main event because it was wrong,” as reported earlier by wrestlinginc.com. It happened during the WrestleCade Supershow last week when the Sandman made this misogynistic comment to the women who were in the main event. Famous names from the industry like Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Su Yung and Jordynne Grace were participating in the main event.
After that upsetting and sexist comment, Grace tweeted, “Hey remember that time The Sandman came up to four women about to main event to tell us that women main eventing is “wrong” and “any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree?” Was this in 1998? No, it was tonight. December 2019.”
She later tweeted that the full conversation was even worse: “Too long for Twitter, but it’s worse than you’re probably even imagining.”
According to Grace, Jim Fullington aka “The Sandman” came up to her and her opponents and said that "women main eventing is wrong" and "any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree."
Controversy erupted when several other wrestlers came out in supporting Grace and responding to Sandman's comments. AEW Champion Chris Jericho tweeted, "I don't agree," while Madison Rayne wrote, "Gross. I hope he stuck around to see the match and eat his words."
