Sandeep Nahar Suicide Case: After actor Sandeep Nahar was found dead at his Goregaon home, the Mumbai police booked an abetment to suicide case against his wife and mother-in-law, according to the statements given by the actor’s family. The post mortem examination of Nahar has revealed that the actor died by hanging. His father and brother came down from Punjab to record their statements at the police station and will reportedly take the body back to Punjab for final rites.
Sandeep Nahar, the actor who starred in major Bollywood movies like M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story, Khandaani Shafakhana, and Kesari, was reportedly found unconscious at his flat in suburban Goregaon, by his wife and friends. He was rushed to SVR Hospital, but unfortunately, the doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.
In the 9-minute long video, which Sandeep Nahar mentioned as his suicide note, he reportedly revealed that he was going through ‘trauma’ and alleged mental torture by his wife Kanchan and his mother-in-law. He also claimed that she threatened to file a fake police complaint against him and that her mother is also complicit in that. Nahar expressed that he hasn’t been able to handle all the pressure he is getting from many ongoing personal and professional problems in his life, especially with his wife.
Before ending the video, he requested everyone not to pester his family if he ‘ends up taking a drastic step’ and not blame and harass his wife for his death, and take her for psychiatric help. The video now stands deleted.
However, a friend of the actor said that they had no idea of the problems he was facing, or else they would have intervened. “He was a calm and sensible person, and always cheered people around him,” he said. Further, he also revealed that the couple had been on a vacation in Goa just ten days ago.
