Sana Khan, former actor of Bigg Boss 6 fame who recently announced her exit from the show business, got married to a Surat-based man Mufti Anaas in a private ceremony. Pictures and videos from the occasion that have gone viral show the newlyweds in all-white outfits, with Khan donning a white wedding gown. News reports suggest the low-profile ceremony took place in Gujarat, the state Anaas hails from.
In a video from the event, the happy couple can be seen walking down the stairs, hand-in-hand. Another video shows them sitting amidst family, cutting a wedding cake that reads "Nikaah Mubarak".

Sana Khan's Exit From Showbiz
In October this year, Khan had taken to social media to announce her exit from films and entertainment, citing religious reasons. The 33-year-old, renowned for films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Jai Ho, and Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, gave a statement on October 8, writing that she was renouncing her profession for “it will be better if the slaves lives according to the command of his Creator and does not make wealth and fame his only goal.”
The message written in English, Hindi, and Urdu, mentioned, “I declare that from today onwards, I have resolved to say goodbye to my showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator." She had even removed all old pictures linking to her earlier life as an actor from Instagram. In all her social media posts, she can now be seen clad in a hijab. Recently, following the terror attack in France that had raised controversy around cartoons of Prophet Muhammad, Khan had taken to Instagram to call for a boycott of French products. Slamming President Emmanuel Macron, she wrote, "We condemn the mockery of our beloved Prophet (pbuh). Freedom of speech is everyone’s right but u can’t be so disrespectful n arrogant... You are the worst example of a leader u definitely need mental help..."

Khan Accuses Former Partner Of Domestic Violence
In February this year, Khan had made headlines by reportedly accusing choreographer Melvin Louis, her former partner, of domestic violence. In an incident that was under wide media glare, Khan had alleged that Louis had cheated on her with other women and that he publicly humiliated her. She also claimed Louis had tried to extort "monetary gains" out of her.
Her live video had reportedly ended in tears, which Khan later explained saying, "Sorry had to log out coz I couldn’t stop getting emotional. And tears are not for him but the pain and humiliation I went through for someone not worth it. Thinking of these girls make it even worse."
